The Bristol Astronomical Society (BAS) is run by amateur astronomers as a non-profitmaking charity. We are dedicated to exploring and explaining the splendours of the night sky and all aspects of astronomy for both our members and the public through regular outreach. With over 120 members we are one of the most active Societies in the UK.
We organise weekly talks and meetings throughout most of the year (see the programme page) given by a mixture of professional and amateur astronomers and local members.
